Capsicum Serrano is a type of chili pepper that is a small and slender chili pepper that typically measures between 2cm to 5cm in length and 1cm to 2cm in diameter. The pepper's skin is smooth, glossy, and can be bright green or red when ripe.
Serrano peppers are considered to be relatively hot, with a Scoville heat rating of 10,000 to 23,000 units, which is similar to the heat level of cayenne peppers. They have a crisp and bright flavour with a citrusy undertone, making them a popular ingredient in salsa, hot sauce, and other spicy dishes.
